Our Philosophy
At CARE Esthetics, we pride ourselves on being a holistic practice that puts the “medical” back in medical spas. Led by Dr. Paul Primeaux, a seasoned medical professional and supported by a team of expert practitioners, CARE Esthetics brings a unique and all-natural approach to aesthetics, skincare, and wellness interventions. Relying on the breathtaking advancements in non-surgical technologies and years of research in regenerative medicine, our medical professionals offer the very best in minimally invasive esthetic treatments. Meet Dr. Paul
Primeaux Jr.
Paul Primeaux Jr., MD, is the co-founder and medical director of CARE Esthetics in New Orleans.
With over 20 years of medical practice experience, Dr. Primeaux opened CARE Esthetics to help his patients become the best versions of themselves. Dr. Primeaux is deeply involved in the day-to-day of the CARE Esthetics practice, performing aesthetic procedures and providing ongoing training to his staff. He is board-certified in anesthesiology and obesity medicine and an American Board of Aesthetic Medicine Certified provider.
During his residency at Tulane University, he was named Outstanding Scholar and Chief Resident. After joining Tulane’s medical school faculty, he was twice named the Department of Anesthesiology’s Outstanding Faculty Teacher. Always looking to expand his medical education further, Dr. Primeaux is currently completing a longevity medicine fellowship.
Primeaux’s passion lies in healthy aging and longevity, and he is forever looking to bring the newest and best rejuvenation strategies to CARE. His commitment to evidence-based approaches includes promoting healthy weight, disease prevention, physical fitness, and mental acuity. An award-winning teacher, clinician, researcher, and entrepreneur, Dr. Primeaux brings a wealth of expertise to CARE.
The CARE Team
Erin Primeaux, CWC
Erin Primeaux is an accomplished executive coach certified by Rice University’s Doerr Institute for New Leaders and the National Academy of Sports Medicine. With a Master of Science Degree in Healthcare Management and over 15 years of healthcare administration experience, Erin focuses on personalized, holistic coaching to empower individuals to reach their highest potential. She serves as a cultural leader, volunteer and Board Member for Dress for Success New Orleans (DFSNO) and previously led the Women Empowering Women (WoW) Resource Group at Ochsner Health.
Inspired by her father’s resilience despite type 1 diabetes, Erin is deeply committed to wellness coaching. Her extensive background in healthcare administration, coupled with certifications in wellness coaching, uniquely positions Erin to guide individuals towards optimal well-being. Together with her spouse and business partner, Paul, Erin co-founded the Center for Advanced Rejuvenation & Aesthetics in New Orleans, dedicated to fostering longevity and helping clients live their best lives.
Emily Lacour, DNP
Emily Lacour began her nursing career in the intensive care unit and later earned her family nurse practitioner and doctorate in nursing practice degrees from Loyola University New Orleans. From there, Emily developed a passion for aesthetics and skin care following her own struggles with debilitating skin conditions.
Certified in aesthetic and obesity medicine, Emily is dedicated to helping her clients look and feel their best. She offers expertise, encouragement, and education to enhance natural beauty and address health-related topics such as weight loss. Emily’s holistic approach ensures her clients feel their best both inside and out. She currently resides in Metairie with her husband, Brandon, and newborn.
Our Unique Approach
What sets CARE Esthetics apart from other medical spas is our deep commitment to advanced skincare and aesthetics rejuvenation, emphasizing an all-natural aesthetic approach deeply rooted in a focus on health. Unlike traditional med spas, we take an all-natural approach to improving the common signs of aging. We prefer platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) treatments and other all-natural services over Botox and fillers, which we view more as a supplementary treatment.
Our holistic approach extends beyond aesthetics. We engage with our clients personally, discussing overall health from a medical perspective. From physical fitness to weight loss, our focus remains steadfast on health and longevity.
At CARE, we offer more than just individual aesthetic services. We always provide complimentary skincare consultations and build an annual calendar to create personalized, comprehensive treatment plans for every client. We also instill a medical component into our practice with our weight loss program and men’s health clinic.
